Various symptoms such as asthenia, generalized muscle weakness, diplopia, blurred vision, ptosis, dysphagia, dysphonia, dysarthria, urinary incontinence, and breathing difficulties have been observed from hours to weeks following the injection.
There have been reports of death related to the spread of botulinum toxin from swallowing or breathing difficulties. You MUST seek immediate medical attention if swallowing, speech, or respiratory disorders occur.
Hypersensitivity reactions such as anaphylaxis, serum sickness, urticaria, soft-tissue edema, and dyspnea have been reported. Any hypersensitivity to neurotoxin, human albumin, or sucrose can lead to life threatening anaphylaxis. If you experience any of the symptoms, then immediate medical attention is required.
Corneal exposure, ulceration, or ectropion has been reported. The loss of orbicularis muscle can lead to complications.
Xeomin also contains albumin, which is a derivative of human blood. Therefore, there is a theoretical risk of viral diseases, CJD, or vCJD, although none has ever been reported.
Xeomin is contraindicated in the following patients with known hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin or other components in the formulation or an infection at the site of injection.
Patients with peripheral motor neuropathy diseases, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or neuromuscular junctional disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome) are at increased risk and cannot be injected.

REVANESSE® VERSA™ is a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler that was FDA approved in 2017. Other types of FDA approved hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers include Restylane and Juvederm.
We are using Prollenium, the manufacturer of REVANESSE® VERSA™, to give the aesthetic community the opportunity to try REVANESSE® VERSA™ at an introductory discount.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin and joints. It acts as a cushion and lubricant. Hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers are REVERSIBLE. In the unlikely event that you don't like your result, REVANESSE® VERSA™ can be removed in seconds.
Dermal fillers are gel like substances that actually fills in lines and wrinkles. Botulinum toxin do NOT fill, but relax wrinkles by paralyzing the muscle. Dermal fillers are commonly used in the mid-face and lower-face. Botulinum toxins are commonly used in the upper face.
Most patients will see the immediate results from day one. Our Medspa's patients treated in the laugh lines usually find that the effects last around 6 months (Based on Main Study at Week 24 responses of much improved or very much improved was 59.2% with Revanesse Versa).
The discomfort should be minimal. We utilize various anesthetic methods: locally injected anesthetic, topical numbing cream, ice and/or distraction method. Controlling your pain is very important to us. We are experts with the needle, and very gentle.

Frequently Asked Questions medical weight loss
Our Medspa offers a medically supervised weight loss program utilizing FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonists, such as semaglutide (e.g., Ozempic®, Wegovy®) and tirzepatide (e.g., Mounjaro®, Zepbound™). These medications help regulate appetite, enhance satiety, and improve metabolic function, supporting sustainable weight loss when combined with lifestyle modifications.
Both semaglutide and tirzepatide mimic hormones that regulate appetite and insulin secretion. They slow gastric emptying, reduce hunger signals, and improve blood sugar control, leading to decreased caloric intake and weight loss.
Ideal candidates are adults with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with weight-related health conditions such as hypertension or type 2 diabetes. A comprehensive medical evaluation will determine eligibility.
Individual results vary, but clinical studies have shown significant weight loss over several months. Consistent medication use, dietary adjustments, and physical activity contribute to optimal outcomes.
Medications are administered via subcutaneous injection, typically once a week. Our team provides thorough instruction on self-administration techniques to ensure comfort and safety.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal discomfort. These often diminish as the body adjusts to the medication. Serious side effects are rare but will be discussed during your consultation.
Treatment duration varies based on individual goals and response to therapy. Regular follow-up appointments will assess progress and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
Costs depend on the specific medication, dosage, and duration of treatment. During your consultation, we will provide detailed pricing information and discuss any available payment options or promotions.
Currently, our medical weight loss program is a self-pay service. We can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Frequently Asked Questions microneedling
Medical grade microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses tiny, sterile needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. These controlled injuries trigger your body’s natural healing process—stimulating collagen and elastin production to improve skin texture, firmness, and overall radiance.
Microneedling is used to treat a wide variety of skin concerns, including:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scars and surgical scars
Stretch marks
Enlarged pores
Hyperpigmentation
Uneven tone or texture
Mild skin laxity
Unlike dermal rollers, medical-grade microneedling devices used in our clinic:
Penetrate deeper and more consistently
Use sterile, single-use needle tips
Are performed by trained professionals
This allows for safer, more effective results with lower risk of infection or skin damage.
Yes! Microneedling is safe for all skin types and tones, including darker complexions, because it doesn’t use heat or chemicals that can cause pigmentation issues.
Most patients say microneedling feels like a light scratching or buzzing sensation. We apply a strong topical numbing cream before the procedure, so discomfort is minimal and well-tolerated.
The full appointment takes about 45–60 minutes, including time for numbing. The actual microneedling process usually lasts 15–30 minutes, depending on the area treated.
Microneedling is most commonly done on the face, but we can also treat:
Neck and décolleté
Hands
Stretch marks on the stomach, thighs, and hips
Scars on any part of the body
You may experience:
Redness or mild swelling for 24–48 hours
A tight, dry, or sandpaper-like feeling for 2–4 days
Light flaking or peeling as your skin renews
Most people return to work or normal activities the next day.
You’ll likely notice an improvement in your skin’s texture and glow within a few days. Collagen production builds over time, so your skin continues to improve for 4–6 weeks after each session.
For best results, we typically recommend a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. For deeper acne scars or stretch marks, you may need up to 6 treatments. We’ll customize your plan during your consultation.
Absolutely! Many patients combine microneedling with:
PRP/PRF ("Vampire Facial") for enhanced healing and glow
LED Light Therapy to calm inflammation
Chemical Peels or Botox (timed appropriately) for full-face rejuvenation
We’ll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your skin goals.
Microneedling is generally very safe when performed by a trained provider. Minor side effects may include:
Temporary redness or swelling
Pinpoint bleeding
Light bruising (rare)
Flaking or dry patches
Your provider will review your full medical history to minimize risk.
You should avoid microneedling if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have active acne, rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis in the treatment area
Have a history of keloid scarring
Have open wounds or active skin infections
Have used Accutane in the past 6 months
Before:
Avoid retinols, acids, and exfoliants for 3–5 days
Avoid sun exposure and self-tanners
Stay well hydrated
After:
Use gentle, hydrating skincare
Avoid makeup and intense workouts for 24 hours
Avoid sun exposure and always use SPF
We’ll give you full pre- and post-care instructions to help you glow safely and beautifully.
$195 for 1 treatment session with membership.

Frequently Asked Questions prp
PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma—a powerful, healing-rich component derived from your own blood. It contains growth factors, platelets, and proteins that stimulate cell repair, collagen production, and tissue regeneration. PRP is widely used in skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and under-eye volume loss.
A small sample of your blood is drawn and placed in a specialized centrifuge. This process separates the platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells and other components. The concentrated PRP is then used immediately during your treatment.
Yes! Because PRP comes from your own blood, it is 100% natural and biocompatible, with no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. It's widely used in both aesthetics and medicine, including sports injury recovery and orthopedic healing.
Most PRP treatments take 45–60 minutes, including the blood draw, processing, and treatment time.
PRP Microneedling combines medical-grade microneedling with topical application of PRP to enhance healing, stimulate collagen, and improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity.
Acne scars
Fine lines and wrinkles
Enlarged pores
Uneven skin tone
Sun damage and dullness
Stretch marks
Most patients benefit from a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6–12 months.
Expect redness and sensitivity for 1–3 days. Mild swelling or flaking may occur. You can return to most activities the next day, but avoid intense workouts and sun exposure for 48–72 hours.
When injected into the scalp, PRP stimulates inactive hair follicles, improves blood supply to the root, and increases the thickness and density of existing hair. It’s especially effective for early to moderate androgenic alopecia (male or female pattern hair loss).
Men and women with thinning hair or early-stage hair loss
Those not ready for surgical hair restoration
People looking for a natural, drug-free solution
Typically, we recommend a series of 3–6 sessions, spaced 1 month apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 4–6 months.
Most patients begin noticing less shedding and early regrowth within 2–3 months. Visible thickening usually takes 4–6 months or more.
es! PRP can complement:
Hair transplant surgery
Minoxidil or finasteride use
Nutrafol or other hair supplements
We’ll help you customize the best plan for your needs.
PRP is injected or applied under the eyes to treat:
Dark circles
Hollowing
Fine lines
Crepey skin
It works by stimulating collagen and improving blood flow, giving the eyes a more rested, refreshed appearance.
Unlike dermal fillers (which add volume), PRP improves skin quality and thickness naturally over time. There’s no risk of puffiness or Tyndall effect (bluish tint under the skin), making PRP ideal for patients who want a more natural approach.
A series of 2–4 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, is recommended for best results.
Mild swelling or bruising may occur under the eyes for 1–3 days. Most patients return to work within 24–48 hours.
You may not be a candidate for PRP if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have active infections or skin conditions
Have bleeding/clotting disorders
Are on blood thinners (unless cleared by your doctor)
Have very low platelet counts or certain autoimmune conditions
We’ll review your full medical history during your consultation.
Before PRP:
Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, and blood thinners 3 days prior
Stay hydrated
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face or scalp
After PRP:
Avoid touching or washing the area for 6–8 hours
No intense exercise or sun exposure for 24–48 hours
Use only gentle skincare or shampoo
Avoid anti-inflammatory medications for 48 hours (they may reduce healing response)

Frequently Asked Questions Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat varicose veins and spider veins. It involves injecting a solution directly into the affected veins, causing them to collapse and eventually be absorbed by the body, improving the appearance of the legs and reducing symptoms.
Asclera® (polidocanol) is an FDA-approved sclerosing agent used to treat uncomplicated spider veins (telangiectasias) and reticular veins (≤ 3 mm in diameter) in the lower extremities. It works by irritating the lining of the blood vessels, leading to their collapse and eventual resorption.
Hypertonic saline is a concentrated salt solution (23.4% Sodium Chloride) used as a sclerosing agent to treat smaller varicose and spider veins. It works by dehydrating the endothelial cells lining the veins, causing them to collapse and be reabsorbed by the body.
Injection sclerotherapy involves injecting a sclerosant directly into the veins, whereas laser treatment uses light energy to target and collapse the veins. Surgery, such as vein stripping or endovenous thermal ablation, physically removes or closes off the veins. Sclerotherapy is minimally invasive, usually requires no anesthesia, and has a quicker recovery time compared to surgery.
The results of sclerotherapy are typically long-lasting. Treated veins generally do not return; however, new veins may develop over time, which may require additional treatments.
Patients may experience mild discomfort during the injection, described as a slight burning or cramping sensation. The discomfort is usually brief and subsides quickly.
There is minimal downtime associated with sclerotherapy. Most patients can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure, although it is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and prolonged standing or sitting for the first 48-72 hours.
At Medspa of Seattle, sclerotherapy can be performed on various parts of the legs, including the thighs, calves, and ankles, where spider and reticular veins are present.
Limited Time 75% OFF. $99 for 2 sessions. Treat an area the size of your palm. Regular price: $399

We achieve this through efficient practice management and by prioritizing patient care. We also have extensive relationship with the medication manufacturer to pass on the saving directly to you.
If touch-up treatments are necessary, they can be scheduled as needed. During your follow-up appointments, your healthcare provider will assess the results and recommend any additional treatments if required.
If you wish to undergo further sclerotherapy treatments, discuss your goals with your healthcare provider. They will create a personalized treatment plan based on your individual needs and the best clinical practices.
Potential side effects of sclerotherapy include injection site reactions (pain, swelling, bruising), hyperpigmentation, neovascularization, superficial thrombophlebitis, allergic reactions, and, in rare cases, ulceration and necrosis or deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
You should not be treated if you:
- are a patients with known allergy to the sclerosant, acute thromboembolic diseases, acute superficial thrombophlebitis, systemic infections, and in bedridden patients.
- history of DVT, Venous Thrombosis, Pulmonary Embolism, Arterial Disease, Arterial Embolism, Tissue Ischemia or Necrosis, congestive heart failure, kidney problems, hypernatremia or fluid retention, poorly controlled diabetes, high blood pressure, poor wound healing, hypercoagulable state or an active infection.
- are pregnant or breastfeeding, as the safety of these products for use during pregnancy, or in women who are breastfeeding, has not been studied
- are under concomitant anticoagulant therapy, antiplatelet therapy (aspirin or plavix), or have a history of bleeding disorders, clotting disorders such as hemophilia or connective tissue disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus

Frequently Asked Questions Radiofrequency microneedling
RF Microneedling combines traditional microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production deep within the skin. The microneedles create controlled micro-injuries on the surface while RF heat tightens deeper tissue—giving you both surface rejuvenation and deeper skin remodeling.
RF Microneedling is used to improve:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scars and surgical scars
Stretch marks
Enlarged pores
Uneven texture
Loose or sagging skin (especially jawline, neck, and lower face)
Hyperpigmentation and melasma (in some cases)
Traditional microneedling focuses only on the skin’s surface. RF Microneedling adds heat energy, which penetrates deeper layers of skin to tighten, firm, and boost collagen production more effectively. It offers faster, more noticeable results with fewer sessions.
Yes! One of the biggest benefits of RF Microneedling is that it's safe for all skin tones, including deeper skin types, because it doesn’t damage the outer skin layer the way some lasers can.
Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure or a warm prickling feeling. We apply a powerful numbing cream beforehand to make the treatment very tolerable.
For best results, most patients need a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments every 6–12 months help keep your skin firm and glowing.
You may notice improvement within 1 week, but results continue to develop over 3–6 months as your skin builds collagen. Skin will feel tighter, smoother, and more refined with each session.
You may experience redness, mild swelling, and a “sunburn” feeling for 1–3 days. Most patients return to normal activities within 24–48 hours. Makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours.
Absolutely! RF Microneedling pairs well with:
PRP/PRF for accelerated healing and glow
Botox/Xeomin for wrinkle reduction
Chemical peels (when spaced appropriately)
LED light therapy for calming redness
We’ll customize your treatment plan during your consultation.
While the results are long-lasting, they’re not permanent. Your skin will continue to age, so periodic maintenance treatments help you stay ahead of the curve.
You may not be a candidate if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have active skin infections, cold sores, or open wounds
Have a history of keloid scarring
Use isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past 6 months
Have implanted electronic devices (like pacemakers)
RF Microneedling is safe for the face, neck, décolleté, and even body areas like:
Abdomen (for stretch marks or laxity)
Arms (for crepey skin)

Tretinoin may cause initial dryness, flaking, or breakouts ("purging"). Hydroquinone may cause mild irritation. Both should be used under guidance. Discontinue if redness, swelling, or discomfort persists.

Frequently Asked Questions vi peel
The VI Peel is a gentle yet powerful medium-depth chemical peel designed to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity. It uses a blend of Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA), Retinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, and Vitamin C to stimulate cellular turnover and exfoliate damaged skin. It’s perfect for first-time peel users and safe for all skin types.
Mild to moderate acne and acne scarring
Uneven skin tone and texture
Sun damage and early signs of aging
Clogged pores and congested skin
Dullness and loss of radiance
The VI Peel is ideal for patients who:
Have sensitive skin or are new to chemical peels
Want brighter, smoother, and clearer skin
Are looking for a non-invasive treatment with minimal downtime
Have light to medium acne, pigmentation, or aging concerns
Yes! One of the biggest advantages of the VI Peel is that it’s formulated to be safe and effective for all Fitzpatrick skin types. Unlike many chemical peels that risk post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin tones, VI Peel is designed to minimize that risk.
Your provider will cleanse your skin thoroughly, then apply the VI Peel solution in layers. The peel may feel slightly tingly or warm, but most patients find it very tolerable. You’ll leave the office with the peel solution still on your skin and wash it off at home 4–6 hours later, following your personalized aftercare instructions.
Day 1–2: Your skin may look slightly red or tan.
Day 3–5: Expect peeling—typically around the mouth, cheeks, and chin first.
Day 6–7: Most of the peeling is complete, revealing fresh, glowing skin.
Don’t worry—it’s a manageable, not scary peel. Most patients say the flaking looks more like a sunburn peel than a full “snake-shed.”
VI peel is most commonly done on the face, but we can also treat:
Neck and décolleté
Hands
Stretch marks on the stomach, thighs, and hips
Scars on any part of the body
You’ll receive a home care kit with gentle wipes and post-peel towelettes. Key tips include:
Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 30+ daily
Do not pick or pull at peeling skin
Keep skin moisturized with the provided aftercare products
Avoid active ingredients (like retinol or exfoliants) for 1 week
Many patients notice improved skin as early as Day 7, with continued improvements over the next few weeks. For best results, we recommend a series of 3–4 peels spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
For best results, we typically recommend a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. For deeper acne scars or stretch marks, you may need up to 6 treatments. We’ll customize your plan during your consultation.
Yes! VI Peel is commonly combined with microneedling, PRP, or LED light therapy for enhanced results. We’ll guide you on the best combination plan for your skin goals.
The VI Peel is generally very well tolerated. Rare side effects may include:
Redness or irritation
Temporary breakouts ("purging")
Post-peel sensitivity
We’ll go over your medical history to ensure you’re a great candidate before we begin.
You should avoid the VI Peel if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have an active cold sore, open wound, or facial rash
Are currently using Accutane or have used it within the last 6 months
Are undergoing radiation or chemotherapy
There is minimal social downtime. You can go back to work the same day, though you’ll begin peeling around Day 3. Plan your peel accordingly if you have a special event coming up!
For general skin maintenance or anti-aging: every 3–4 months
For acne or hyperpigmentation: a series of 3–6 peels spaced 4–6 weeks apart
